Hi Ryan,

Melbourne has been in the drought for more that a decade now and our water storage levels are at record low: only 26.2%!

You are right, so much precious water is wasted on a car wash. We aren't allowed to wash our cars form the hose, ONLY at a car wash using recycled water. How do I wash our car: when it rains (not very often here), I leave the car outside and wipe it off. No water wastage, no unnecessary suds.

i agree with walking versus driving. It also has health benefits, think of it as your extra exercise. I have another tip:

A typical car wash lasting 10 minutes uses approximately 100 gallons of water. What if we could conserve hundreds of gallons of water in one week. Go to a local car wash that uses recycled water or use an eco-friendly waterless car wash.

It takes only 15 minutes, is effective and uses no wate
